Last night's Democratic 2020 Presidential debate, the first of two this week in Miami, covered many issues from climate change to gun control, but none were more shocking than the candidates' responses to immigration questions posed by the moderators. Emergency Border Spending Bill Passes House 230-195, Fails Senate

Last night, after clenching an eleventh-hour deal with the Congressional Progressive Caucus and Congressional Hispanic Caucus on the emergency border spending package, Speaker Nancy Pelosi was able to avoid an embarrassing interparty split and ensure the bill's passage. This afternoon, the Senate rejected the House emergency spending bill, by a vote of 37-55, and passed its supplemental bill, S. 1900, by a vote of 84-8.

Gallup: One In Three Americans Want Immigration Numbers Reduced

Concerns about immigration and its impact on crime and taxes have soared to the highest level ever recorded, according to a new Gallup survey. The polling company said that more Americans than ever before cited immigration as their top concern in the most recent study.

White House Reviews Rule To Change Flores Agreement

The White House Office of Management and Budget has started reviewing a proposed rule that would allow lengthy detentions of migrant children, according to the agencies website, as reported by Politico. The rule aims to free the Trump Administration from the restrictions of the 1997 Flores settlement agreement.

President Trump told his supporters that Democrat calls for amnesty for illegal aliens, an open border, and a never-ending flow of cheaper, foreign workers to compete against Americans is the "greatest betrayal" to the working and middle class.

Bruno Lozano, the Democratic mayor of Del Rio, Texas, a small town in the U.S. Mexican border is fed up with the lack of action taken by the Federal Government to solve the current crisis at the Southern Border. New York's 'Green Light Bill' Offers Driver's Licenses to Illegal Immigrants

On Monday the New York Senate passed the "Green Light Bill," which is designed to give illegal aliens what New York considers the "right to a driver's license. NumbersUSA Education & Research Foundation provides a civil forum for Americans of all political and ethnic backgrounds to focus on a single issue, the numerical level of U.S. immigration. We educate opinion leaders, policymakers and the public on immigration legislation, policies and their consequences. We favor reductions in immigration numbers toward traditional levels that would allow present and future generations of Americans to enjoy a stabilizing U.S. population and a high degree of individual liberty, mobility, environmental quality, worker fairness and fiscal responsibility.

Those who need to refer to NumbersUSA with a short, descriptive modifier should call it an “immigration-reduction organization.”
