What is NumbersUSA’s Statement of Values?
The most important factor in federal immigration policy is the numbers – the annual level of immigration.
Annual immigration should be set at a level that allows the stabilization of the U.S. population and long-term sustainability of the American quality of life.
U.S. immigration policy should serve the national interest and prioritize the admission of spouses and minor children, including adoptees, workers with extraordinary skills, and asylees and refugees.
U.S. immigration policy should support American workers, especially the most vulnerable, by preventing wage suppression and unfair competition for jobs.
Congress, through legislation, and the Executive branch, through enforcement policy, bear the burden of blame for—and the responsibility to correct—problems associated with current immigration policy.
Immigrant bashing, xenophobia, nativism, and racism are unacceptable responses to federal immigration policy failures. Race and ethnicity should play no role in the debate and establishment of immigration policy.

What is a passkey?
A passkey is a modern, secure method of logging into your account without the need to remember a password. Instead of typing a password, you can use a simple action like scanning your fingerprint, using facial recognition, or entering a PIN on your device. It’s like having a digital key that only you possess.
Why are we switching to passkeys?
Passwords can be hard to remember and are sometimes easy for others to guess or steal. Passkeys offer a higher level of security and are more convenient. They protect your personal information better and make logging in easier. They can also easily sync between your devices, and can be
How does a passkey work?
When you set up a passkey, your device creates a unique digital code that is securely stored. When you log in, your device uses this code to verify it’s you. This code cannot be used on another device and cannot be guessed by others.
Do I need special equipment or a new device?
Most modern smartphones, tablets, and computers support passkeys. If your device has a fingerprint scanner, facial recognition, or allows you to set a PIN, you can use passkeys. There’s no need to purchase anything new. You may wish to upgrade to the latest version of your devices operating system, as many tech companies have made passkeys easier to use in recent operating system versions.
Is it difficult to set up a passkey?
Not at all! Setting up a passkey is straightforward. When you next log in, you’ll be guided through simple steps to create your passkey. If you need assistance, we’re here to help.
What if I forget my PIN or lose my device?
If you forget your PIN or lose your device, there are secure recovery options. You can use another trusted device to access your account or contact our support team for help regaining access. You can also use the “Forgot password” function, then log in with the newly reset password, which will prompt you to create a new passkey on your new device.
Is my privacy protected with passkeys?
Absolutely. Your passkey information is stored securely on your device and is never shared. Passkeys are designed to keep your personal information safe. Unlike a password, the sensitive parts of a passkey are never shared outside your devices, and are specific to an individual site. Even if if the part of the passkey we hold is somehow compromised, it is useless for accessing or even discovering your data on other sites.
Can someone else access my account with their fingerprint or face?
No. Passkeys are unique to you. Even if someone else has a similar appearance or tries to use their fingerprint, they won’t be able to access your account.
I'm not comfortable with new technology. Do I have to switch?
We highly recommend switching to passkeys for your security and convenience. However, we understand that adjustments take time. For now, you can continue to use your password to sign in if you want, though you will be prompted to create a passkey every time you sign in, unless you select the “do not show this again” option.
Will I still need my old password?
Once you’ve set up a passkey, you won’t need to remember your old password for logging in. It’s a good idea to keep it safe just in case, but the goal is to make passwords a thing of the past.
How secure are passkeys compared to passwords?
Passkeys are significantly more secure than traditional passwords. They are resistant to common hacking methods and provide a strong defense against unauthorized access.
What if I use multiple devices?
You can set up passkeys on all your devices. Each device will have its own secure passkey, allowing you to access your account seamlessly wherever you are.
Will this cost me anything?
No, setting up and using passkeys is completely free. It’s a service we’re providing to enhance your security and user experience.
