Polling of voters in eight swing states finds that they are overwhelmingly opposed to President Obama’s abuse of executive power to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens in the U.S. By better than 2-1 margins, voters in these states oppose the president’s amnesty plan.

A poll from The Polling Company shows overwhelming support among likely voters for significantly lower immigration levels, increased enforcement and an opposition to Pres. Obama's plan to move forward with an executive action that could grant amnesty and work permits to millions of illegal aliens. 74% of likely voters chose Pres. Obama working with Congress on the immigration issue rather than acting alone, and 75% of likely voters want to see more enforcement of immigration laws.

54% of Texans want illegal aliens deported, and only 39% in-state tuition for illegal aliens. Amidst the ongoing border crisis, a University of Texas/Texas Tribune poll has found that the majority of Texan registered voters support the deportation of illegal aliens. 54% said they either strongly agree or somewhat agree with deportations. 40% disagreed. Also, a plurality of Texans, 49%, think illegal aliens should be forced to pay out-of-state tuition rates at state colleges and universities.

A Pulse Opinion Research poll sponsored by NumbersUSA of 1,000 Evangelical likely voters found that 57% feel the federal government has very little or no moral responsibility to issue work permits to illegal aliens, but 74% feel the federal government has a lot or some moral responsibility to have an immigration policy that protects unemployed and low-wage workers from foreign worker competition.

NumbersUSA Education & Research Foundation provides a civil forum for Americans of all political and ethnic backgrounds to focus on a single issue, the numerical level of U.S. immigration. We educate opinion leaders, policymakers and the public on immigration legislation, policies and their consequences. We favor reductions in immigration numbers toward traditional levels that would allow present and future generations of Americans to enjoy a stabilizing U.S. population and a high degree of individual liberty, mobility, environmental quality, worker fairness and fiscal responsibility.

Those who need to refer to NumbersUSA with a short, descriptive modifier should call it an “immigration-reduction organization.”
