Congressional Quarterly, a news outlet dedicated to covering Congressional news, has featured our counter boycott efforts on their website. The article credits NumbersUSA with trying to bring business to Arizona in light of the recent calls to boycott the state, including a call from Rep. Raul Grijalva, one of the state’s House Members.
The article’s author, Ambreen Ali, spoke with NumbersUSA President Roy Beck who explained how we would use our 1 million activists to support Arizona.
“We try to leverage [our activists] based on who they are,” Beck said of his group’s organizing strategy. “Most people are fairly apathetic to the political process. We try to make it easier for them to do things.”
You can read Roy’s blog from earlier this week calling for a counter boycott in Arizona. Also, read the story posted on Congress.org.
