Rep. Frank Guinta Cosponsors Chairman Smith’s E-Verify Bill

Freshman Rep. Frank Guinta (R-N.H..) has cosponsored House
Judiciary Chairman Lamar Smith’s Legal Workforce Act (H.R. 2885) that
would require 100% of businesses to use E-Verify for new hires within 2
years. By cosponsoring Chairman Smith’s bill, Rep. Guinta has now
cosponsored at least one bill in two of our 5 Great Immigration Solution categories.Rep. Guinta represents New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District after
defeating two-term incumbent Carol Shea-Porter last fall. In just his first
term, Rep. Guinta has already earned a career B grade.The
Legal Workforce Act could potentially open up 7 million
non-agricultural jobs currently held by illegal aliens for 22 million
Americans who want a full-time job but can’t find one. The bill would
phase in E-Verify for all businesses over 2 years and require all
federal and state governments to begin using E-Verify within 6 months.
The bill would also identify illegal aliens currently holding jobs by
reinstating the No-Match letter program and notifying owners of Social
Security numbers that are use multiple times.The bill now has 50 total sponsors.
