H.R. 3271, the Earned Legalization and Family Unification Act, would increase chain migration by increasing the annual cap on family-based legal immigrants by about 250,000. It would also grant amnesty to some 6.5 million illegal immigrants in the United States.

Basic Pilot Program Extension and Expansion Act of 2003

This program is an important component of preventing illegal aliens from taking jobs from those who have the legal right to work in this country.

H.R. 3052, the State Accountability and Identity Fraud Elimination Act, would withhold highway apportionments from states that have a policy of granting driver's licenses to illegal aliens. This would create a disincentive for states to reward illegal aliens with driver's licenses.

Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act of 2003

S. 1545, the DREAM Act, would reward illegal aliens under the age of 21 who have been physically present in the country for five years and are in 7th grade or above with amnesty. An estimated 500,000 to 600,000 illegal aliens would have qualified for this amnesty. It would also reward illegal aliens under the age of 21 who have been physically present in the country for five years and are in 7th grade or above with in-state tuition rates at colleges and universities.

We educate opinion leaders, policymakers and the public on immigration legislation, policies and their consequences. We favor reductions in immigration numbers toward traditional levels that would allow present and future generations of Americans to enjoy a stabilizing U.S. population and a high degree of individual liberty, mobility, environmental quality, worker fairness and fiscal responsibility.

Those who need to refer to NumbersUSA with a short, descriptive modifier should call it an “immigration-reduction organization.”
