The bill would apportion the annual H-2B cap of 66,000 visas so that no more than 33,000 H-2B workers may enter the U.S. during the first six months of any fiscal year; would potentially triple the number of H-2B workers in the U.S. at any one time.

To revise certain requirements for H-2B employers and require submission of information regarding H-2B nonimmigrants, and for other purposes.

We educate opinion leaders, policymakers and the public on immigration legislation, policies and their consequences. We favor reductions in immigration numbers toward traditional levels that would allow present and future generations of Americans to enjoy a stabilizing U.S. population and a high degree of individual liberty, mobility, environmental quality, worker fairness and fiscal responsibility.

Those who need to refer to NumbersUSA with a short, descriptive modifier should call it an “immigration-reduction organization.”
