To amend the Wilderness Act to authorize U.S. Customs and Border Protection to conduct certain activities to secure the international land borders of the United States, and for other purposes.
To reserve any amounts forfeited to the United States Government as a result of the criminal prosecution of Joaquin Archivaldo Guzman Loera (commonly known as "El Chapo"), or of other felony convictions involving the transportation of controlled substances into the United States, for security measures along the Southern border, including the completion of a border wall.
To prohibit the intentional hindering of immigration, border, and customs controls, and for other purposes.
To amend section 524(c) of title 18, United States Code, to use lawfully forfeited drug seizures to increase border security.
To amend the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 to provide for the expedited removal of unaccompanied alien children who are not victims of a severe form of trafficking in persons and who do not have a fear of returning to their country of nationality or last habitual residence, and for other purposes.
To modify the treatment of unaccompanied alien children who are in Federal custody by reason of their immigration status, and for other purposes.
To provide for operational control of the international border of the United States, and for other purposes.
H.R. 4547, the Build the Fence Act of 2016, would direct the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to complete the required southwest border fencing by December 31, 2017. The bill would also amend the Secure Fence Act of 2006 to direct DHS to achieve operational control over U.S. international land and maritime borders by the same date.
H.R. 4034, the Secure Fence Restoration Act of 2015, would require completion of the border fence under the Secure Fence Act of 2006 by the end of 2017.
H.R.1588, the Transnational Criminal Organization Illicit Spotter Prevention and Elimination Act, would increase border security by punishing spotters and armed smugglers of illegal aliens.
