To amend the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2005 to provide for the inclusion of certain workers in the exemption from numerical limitations on H-2B workers, and for other purposes.
The "GRACE Act" would expand the definition of "exceptional and extremely unusual hardship" to include separating aliens subject to deportation from family members who are U.S. citizens, Legal Permanent Residents, or any other individual lawfully admitted to the U.S., essentially preventing ICE from deporting any alien with family members currently in the country (even if that family member themself happens to be an illegal visa overstayer).
To include Iceland in the list of foreign states whose nationals are eligible for admission into the United States as E1 and E2 nonimmigrants if United States nationals are treated similarly by the Government of Iceland, and for other purposes.
To extend the period for adjustment of status for certain Liberian nationals, and for other purposes.
