Recognizing American Children Act

H.R. 5533, the Recognizing American Children Act, would grant amnesty to 2.1 million illegal aliens who were brought to the United States when they were under the age of 16 and have been in the country since 2010. The bill would require that illegal aliens have a GED, is admitted to college, or "valid work authorization", have good moral character, aren't inadmissible or deportable under several categories, haven't been convicted of a felony or 3 misdemeanors on different days, and haven't been under a final order of exclusion, deportation, or removal.

H.R. 4798: 

Reuniting Families Act

H.R. 4798, the Reuniting Families Act, would recapture unused family-based and employment based visas from 1992-2015 to help clear out the backlog of more than 4 million foreign citizens. The bill would also make massive increases to chain migration categories and codify Pres. Obama's DAPA amnesty.

H.R. 3605, the Protect Family Values at the Border Act, would require Border Patrol to consider the safety and family concerns in any action related to the repatriation or prosecution of individuals apprehended for immigration violations and provide related training for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and cooperating entity personnel. These requirements would prevent the timely removal of certain illegal border crossers allowing them to safely resettle in the United States.

H.R. 2095, the American Families United Act, would grant amnesty to an estimated 5 million illegal aliens by allowing the illegal-alien parents of U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents to apply for a waiver from the 3-year and 10-year bars. The bill also authorizes judges to decline to order an alien removed, deported, or excluded and terminate related proceedings or grant permission to reapply for admission or for relief from removal where it would result in a separation hardship for the family.

NumbersUSA Education & Research Foundation provides a civil forum for Americans of all political and ethnic backgrounds to focus on a single issue, the numerical level of U.S. immigration. We educate opinion leaders, policymakers and the public on immigration legislation, policies and their consequences. We favor reductions in immigration numbers toward traditional levels that would allow present and future generations of Americans to enjoy a stabilizing U.S. population and a high degree of individual liberty, mobility, environmental quality, worker fairness and fiscal responsibility.

Those who need to refer to NumbersUSA with a short, descriptive modifier should call it an “immigration-reduction organization.”
