The NumbersUSA Local Power Team is quietly rolling out its S.T.O.P. AMNESTY in 2010! Target: State by State campaign. The Local Power Team has been out in force over the past two weeks passing out thousands of NumbersUSA Immigration-Reduction Report Cards, raising awareness, and declaring “No Amnesty!”
The videos below offer a sense of our activists’ enthusiasm with Report Cards at two rallies.
Our grassroots activists have handed out their Senator and House of Representative immigration grades at more than 30 Tea Party rallies in Nevada, Arizona, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. This new campaign will target each state, one-by-one, until we cover all 50 states. S.T.O.P. AMNESTY in 2010! Target: State by State is a nationwide campaign with activities for all NumbersUSA Local Power Team members.

Our Report Cards campaign is a Local Power Team grassroots mobilization effort that targets each member of Congress by raising awareness of their immigration policies and pressuring them to oppose and work against any Amnesty in 2010. NumbersUSA Report Cards assign a grade to each Member of Congress based on all actions they have taken regarding immigration. How do your elected officials compare?
For example, NumbersUSA activist Stan S. of Wisconsin handed out 20 Report Cards for Sen. Kohl, Sen. Feingold, and Rep. Tammy Baldwin, all of whom have earned an F-, the worst grade possible. The best way to make a difference with our activism is to inform people that there is a huge problem!
NumbersUSA Immigration-Reduction Report Cards prepped for a rally in Los AngelesAccording to a poll conducted by CNN, 3 out of 4 Americans want a decrease in the number of illegal aliens in our country, so why are 94 members of Congress cosponsoring a bill to provide Amnesty to illegal aliens?
Grassroots efforts such as handing out Report Cards and informing members of our communities are examples of how we band together and how our voice gets louder and is heard in Congress. Our elected officials must remember that their job is to represent us, their constituents.
