Mass immigration (legal) is an ongoing, unaddressed problem. While we work to convince Congress to lock in the temporary victories we’ve achieved to arrest and reverse illegal immigration, let’s take a look at the Members of Congress who are signed up to reduce mass LEGAL immigration down to levels we can sustain.
These 13 Representatives and one Senator are the true leaders in Congress when it comes to dialing down mass legal immigration. Each of them have sponsored or cosponsored the Nuclear Family Priority Act which, as its name suggests, would prioritize green cards for spouses and minor children while eliminating chain migration categories for adult siblings and adult children. The bill would allow elderly parents to live in the country on renewable visas and would reduce legal immigration by more than 250,000 per year.
Only fourteen out of 535 Members of Congress have an A+ for cosponsoring bills to end chain migration. Twenty-four Members have an F-minus for supporting bills to expand mass immigration even further. Every other Member of Congress is missing in action on the question of mass legal immigration.
