Many in the establishment media have bought into the expansionist idea that the millions of job openings demonstrate the need for more foreign workers. Yet if the labor force participation rate could rise to the level it was during President Obama's first year in office, all of those jobs could be filled. How quickly we give up on our fellow Americans.

Only 33% of West Virginia's Democratic "likely voters " say they prefer the 10-year amnesty for up to 8 million illegal immigrants in the budget reconciliation bill, according to new polling by Rasmussen Reports. The overwhelming opposition to that amnesty from Senator Manchin's own party should be a bright red light for West Virginia's Democratic senator to stop a bill with that amnesty from passing through the Senate.

NumbersUSA Education & Research Foundation provides a civil forum for Americans of all political and ethnic backgrounds to focus on a single issue, the numerical level of U.S. immigration. We educate opinion leaders, policymakers and the public on immigration legislation, policies and their consequences. We favor reductions in immigration numbers toward traditional levels that would allow present and future generations of Americans to enjoy a stabilizing U.S. population and a high degree of individual liberty, mobility, environmental quality, worker fairness and fiscal responsibility.

Those who need to refer to NumbersUSA with a short, descriptive modifier should call it an “immigration-reduction organization.”
