Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) spoke from the House Floor on President Obama's unconstitutional executive amnesties.
"What we are dealing with here is a president who has ignored the people, ignored the Constitution, and even his own past statements," he said.
"In fact, on at least 22 occasions he has said he does not have the authority to do what he did."
Speaker Boehner then read them.
NumbersUSA launched TV ads in Dallas-Fort Worth and Harlingen-Brownsville-McAllen, Texas today calling on President Obama to stop talking amnesty and start securing the Texas border. The ads call attention to costs associated with increased flows of illegal aliens as a result of the Obama administration's past amnesty, ongoing calls for amnesty and actions to dismantle immigration enforcement. The ads are funded by the 250,000 Texas members of NumbersUSA.
This ad is running across Alaska and asks voters there who Sen. Mark Begich represents. A Gang of Eight Senators are putting together a "comprehensive immigration reform" bill that would grant amnesty to 11-19 million illegal aliens. Sen. Begich has not said whether or not he supports the proposal.
