Dear NumbersUSA Online Activist,
The details of the Omnibus spending bill are being worked out on Capitol Hill as I type this alert. Reports are coming out saying that lawmakers may try to include increases of H-2B visas in this gigantic piece of legislation.
H-2B visas are used to fill blue collared jobs such as truck driving, landscaping and hotel work. This visa program is helping keep wages stagnant for all workers in these categories. It also is helping companies replace hard-working Americans with foreign workers whom they can pay less.
The Congress has an opportunity to halt refugee resettlement and direct funds to instead resettle refugees closer to their home countries. Send these tweets to urge your Members of Congress to include these 2 points in the must-pass omnibus spending bill.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has scheduled a vote on Sen. David Vitter's sanctuary cities legislation, S. 2146 -- the Stop Sanctuary Policies and Protect Americans Act.
Congressman Paul Ryan is ideologically committed to amnesty and massive increases in legal immigration. If you hope to limit immigration in any way, we must stop Rep. Ryan's ascension to Speaker of the House. Please locate your GOP House Member on the list below and tell your Rep. that as a constituent, you urge him/her to oppose amnesty champion Rep. Paul Ryan for Speaker.
