While the White House focuses its attention on keeping "families together" and allowing illegal aliens to "more fully contribute to our country", the Biden immigration bill includes a massive expansion to the existing employment-based immigration system, allowing employers to import cheap foreign workers to fill new jobs.

The protest by the group Doctors without Jobs at the D.C. headquarters of the AAMC last month garnered some well-deserved attention. The New York Times highlighted some of their stories. That's great. Would've be even better if the Times had acknowledge that bad immigration policy is a big part of the problem.

Last month the group Doctors without Jobs came to Washington, D.C. to make their voices heard. They speak for 6,570 U.S.-citizen doctors who are unmatched for residencies while foreign doctors continue to come into the country to take those positions.

On the path that acting DHS head Pekoske started us down yesterday, anybody in the world can take a trip to Disney World and then start moving into the U.S. jobs market and never have to leave. Any visa for work, study, or pleasure would be a "Magic Kingdom Pass" for the whole world to take U.S. jobs.

NumbersUSA Education & Research Foundation provides a civil forum for Americans of all political and ethnic backgrounds to focus on a single issue, the numerical level of U.S. immigration. We educate opinion leaders, policymakers and the public on immigration legislation, policies and their consequences. We favor reductions in immigration numbers toward traditional levels that would allow present and future generations of Americans to enjoy a stabilizing U.S. population and a high degree of individual liberty, mobility, environmental quality, worker fairness and fiscal responsibility.

Those who need to refer to NumbersUSA with a short, descriptive modifier should call it an “immigration-reduction organization.”
