After the New York Times published a story in June covering how Walt Disney World forced American employees to train their foreign-worker replacements, outrage surfaced across the country.  A group of concerned citizens decided to do something about it by forming the organization Boycott Disney Now.

The second Republican debate for the 2016 Presidential Nomination is happening tonight.  We hope that all of the candidates will have a chance to address immigration and clarify their positions on some of the most crucial immigration problems our nation is facing. Before Congress let out for recess in August, top Republicans drafted a memo to their rank and file members.  The memo, which was obtained by Breitbart, suggested to members what they should be discussing during August. Surprisingly, immigration was not included anywhere in this memo.

On Thursday, President Barack Obama addressed the nation from the White House and took questions from the press corps on a range of issues including immigration. The President is expected to issue another executive order that would grant work permits or some sort of legal status to a large portion of the 11 million illegal aliens in the country.

While speaking at an economic roundtable in Washington, D.C. yesterday, the CEO of the National Association of Manufacturers said he knows of 600,000 open jobs in the manufacturing field. He blamed his inability to find workers on our immigration system.

NumbersUSA Education & Research Foundation provides a civil forum for Americans of all political and ethnic backgrounds to focus on a single issue, the numerical level of U.S. immigration. We educate opinion leaders, policymakers and the public on immigration legislation, policies and their consequences. We favor reductions in immigration numbers toward traditional levels that would allow present and future generations of Americans to enjoy a stabilizing U.S. population and a high degree of individual liberty, mobility, environmental quality, worker fairness and fiscal responsibility.

Those who need to refer to NumbersUSA with a short, descriptive modifier should call it an “immigration-reduction organization.”
