FBI director, James Comey, repeated his claim that the U.S. does not have the ability to thoroughly screen Syrian refugees for terrorist ties. The Obama administration has said they want to increase the refugee cap from 70,000 to 85,000 next year with at least 10,000 coming from Syria.
During the House Committee hearing on Homeland Security on Wednesday Director Comey responded to a question from Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) saying, “We can only query against that which we have collected and so if someone has never made a ripple in the pond in Syria in a way that would get their identity or their interest reflected in our database, we can query our database until the cows come home, but there will be nothing show up because we have no record of them.”
The FBI director also described the differences between the U.S.’s ability to screen Syrian refugees versus Iraq refugees after the Iraq War. “And with respect with Iraqi databases, we had far more because of our country’s work there for a decade,” he said. This is a different situation,” he said.

I don't care if they can conduct a thorough background check or not. We don't need them and we sure don't want them. These refugees should go back and fight for their own country...and besides, we got 12-20 million illegal aliens we have to get rid of. Maybe, if we get rid of the illegal aliens, we can allow a some refugees to come here on a temporary basis. How's that?
Until our security on: the internet, on our phones, being able to have back ground checks on anyone entering the US, even having security between the US states I think no one should be allowed to enter the US as: refugees, illegal aliens, no document individuals, also those entering, need to be checked out, that individuals have had their immunization shots, they are not entering the US being sick, and not even pregnant visitors. I have trust issues.
I dont trust any thing in this country anymore...politicians are not actively pushing to end birthright citizenship and use the tools that are available to stop obama on every possible issue. For all of those things you mentioned, anyone coming into our country should be checked, but we know that it will not happen because the 'president' always gets his way! I feel that anyone entering our country at anytime and is pregnant, should be turned around and not allowed to enter...if they are successful and show up at a hospital, the hospital should alert authorities and after that baby is born, mama and baby both sent out of this country! I hope we make it thru this coming year...it makes me so angry that politicians are not standing up to obama, not appearing on the media and telling what obama is doing, at least that should have an affect on the dems getting votes. I dont understand being so damn quiet about this...
Florence...I wholeheartedly agree with you. I have submitted the faxes that are available thru this wonderful site. But, I wonder how many of the politicians read them. Perhaps they unplug their fax machines? I Have emailed and called my Georgia legislators. Occasionally, I receive a reply. I would love to have a march on DC. But, most people would avoid it with excuses that they have to work, have families, can't afford it, or will let others do the marching. Don't they realize that if we don't march or take some action, what the government is doing will adversely affect their jobs, work and families?

The insanity continues. From the Army Times: Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges states that refugees will probably be housed in former U.S. Army barracks and bases, impacting military training exercises (not to mention the fact that potential terrorists will now be in close proximity to military personnel).

Just wait until the last few months of Obama's term. All of a sudden the Muslims will be storming our borders like they're doing in Europe and Obama will be saying we have to take all of them, it's "the American Way."
Trump plans to deport them all anyway! Our next president will have to do what Germany is now doing using their military and air force to deport them back to their own countries.

If we can't do a background check on the "refugees" we should NOT allow them entry to the USA. We are inviting terrorists and criminals only because we didn't check on them first! Inane, inadequate, irresponsible, incompetent, irrational, nonsensical, and just PLAIN STUPID! Not to mention that we cannot afford to have them here. We can't afford to even pay back our loans and continue the downward spiral until the USA will become a third rate country, or worse.
Don't gamble on those Syrian "refugees." No way! I am so afraid of them because they don't like our U.S. Constitution and seek to replace it with Sharia or Islamic law. Weeding out them who are dangerous won't work at all. I don't think FBI would do a perfect job of vetting them even if they have a plenty of time. Most Syrian "refugees" sure know how to fool FBI. Sending every one of them back to Islamic countries would be much more safe.
Obama obviously prevents FBI from exploiting these potential terrorists' and criminals' true identities by having some time to investigate them thoroughly to see if they are dangerous or not. Obama should not invite terror into our country!
The Obama administration has no more intention of screening out jihadists from the Syrian "refugees" (many of whom aren't even Syrians) than he had of screening the thousands of border surge "children" who just arrived from Central America. Indeed, these prospective arrivals would make an impressive addition to the jihadi forces already mustering in the areas that have been colonized by Muslims from Africa and the Middle East.
When your political legacy is to "fundamentally change America", what could be better than the massive importation of peoples with an incandescent hatred of the US?
We absolutely cannot allow those invaders into our country. They have no identification and what they do have has been bought from scammers. The trouble they are causing in Germany and other countries that have taken them in is just unbelievable. They are demanding all kinds of services and money, stealing from the residents of the country, raping and even killing some of the locals or other invaders. This is a friggin nightmare. We can't afford them and cannot afford to give up our safety to live among these animals.

Follow the money trail. Refugee resettlement contractors (like World Relief) are calling for up to 200,000 Syrian refugees. These groups (there are 9 major ones) are almost entirely funded with taxpayer money and are paid "by the head" for each refugee they "import." LIRS, for example, received over $55 million in federal grants in 2014, but only $2.5 million in private contributions. Without the flow of federal money, there would be no push for huge numbers of Syrian refugees.
Why are we so intent on bringing in more illegals when we dont seem to be able to provide for the american citizens born and raised people with jobs and medical care they are intitled to. some of us who have worked for generations to support american values are finding them being attacked on every side even our so called government.. we are not a muslin country we are an american country with christian values that started way back hundreds of years ago. our government is such a useless overpaid group of people this country has ever had. they squabble amongst themselves not acomplishing any thing beneficial to the american people. money has become the tool to get them in congress and same tool keeps them there, we definetly need term limits so as not to let them become ensconed for 25 or more years as a do nothing congress.
There are evil international forces behind all this illegal entry into the First World. I truly believe the only thing that will stop this phenomenon is a new president who sides with American citizens. What happens in the U. S. will happen in all the First World, but we need to get our borders under control and deport our illegals first. Angela Merkel has GOT TO GO!
Why as a lifelong CITIZEN must I get a background if I buy a gun, apply for a sensitive job, etc, but "refugees" and illegal aliens can just walk right in and we have no idea just who they are... Right now there are countless CRIMINAL illegal aliens walking around free and this corrupt administration doesn't even appear to be concerned. They are just pandering for VOTES and cheap labor for big business.
Time for a major change.. Time to start rounding up the criminals and jail them, then later deport them as far from the border as possible so they can't sneak back in easily, then start deporting as many as possible. Better yet, enact E-Verify and make it MANDATORY for every job, NO welfare benefits of any kind for illegal aliens. NO documents, NO welfare! Watch them self deport

If they can't verify their information then they shouldn't be allowed to enter the United states and the are too many illegals in our country already.They must not be allowed to be here until they can be positive that they are not collaborators who wish to do harm in our country.
No background check means NO ENTRY. The ONLY sensible way !!
