Candidate Notes

Opposes a "fast track" to citizenship that would put illegal immigratns in front of legal ones in line. Feels long-time illegal immigrants and children who were brought here without their will have compelling cases for amnesty.

E-Verify has proven simple and effective.

Supports federal government cooperating and assisting state governments and local law enforcemnet.

Sanctuary policies- Does not prefer the federal government forcing its policies on state governments.

It is an embarrassment to our government that implementing entry/exit laws has taken longer than it took to put a man on the moon.

Believes birthright citizenship is covered under the 14th Amendment of the Constitution and supports birthright citizenship.

Favors reducing illegal immigration close to zero without turning the country into a police state. But supports legal pathways to immigration for foreign-born people whose life is at risk because they have assisted us in the war on terror abroad. Believed 1 million people coming to this country a year seems too high.
