This TUBES Video Shows Why Huge Cuts in Immigration to Help Jobless Americans HONORS OUR TRADITIONS

By Roy Beck, Sunday, November 29, 2009, 4:46 PM EDT

Don't let anybody tell you that it would violate our immigration traditions for Congress to cut immigration in half or more to help jobless Americans go back to work. Watch this video and spread it around so people can understand our REAL immigration tradition -- by the numbers. Here's the video . . .

Why I'm thankful for America, and what NumbersUSA is doing to protect what we're thankful for!

By James Robb, Wednesday, November 25, 2009, 12:47 PM EDT

All of us at NumbersUSA can easily become focused on what's wrong with America. We believe immigration numbers are way too high and that illegal immigration is ruinous to the country.

“The Broken Door” – How the Lack of Enforcement of Immigration Law Threatens Our National Security

By Jennifer Magyari, Tuesday, November 24, 2009, 11:34 AM EDT

For many of us, the recent announcement that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed - the alleged mastermind of the September 11th attacks - will be tried in Manhattan has brought back painful memories of the worst attack on United States soil in history. These memories are a reminder of how vulnerable our country can be to its enemies. What many failed to address in the wake of the 9/11 attacks was how closely tied immigration is to our national security.

Illegal Aliens & the Senate Healthcare Bill -- Better Than the House's, But Still Filled With Loopholes

By James Edwards, Saturday, November 21, 2009, 8:00 AM EDT

The Senate health reform bill is better than the House-passed bill, in terms of verification of immigrant or citizenship status. But the Senate bill contains a number of serious loopholes by which illegal aliens can and will obtain taxpayer-funded health coverage. This will provide a net bonus to at least a portion of illegal aliens and may well serve as yet another incentive to break U.S. immigration laws.

By Roy Beck, Friday, November 20, 2009, 12:29 AM EDT

I finally got my chance to get a formal hearing before Members of Congress on Thursday for NumbersUSA's year-long argument that U.S. unemployment requires deep, immediate cuts in immigration. I let the key numbers do the talking. Do you know them? Take a look at the top three . . .

Libertarians: Can You Help CATO Come To Its Senses (not enough high school dropouts in U.S.?)

By Roy Beck, Wednesday, November 18, 2009, 11:17 PM EDT

CATO Institute's Dan Griswold suggests that the U.S. faces a crisis in filling lower skilled jobs because we aren't producing as many high school dropouts as in the past. Perhaps somebody could explain to him that we have around 2 million native-born high school dropouts who are actively looking for a job and can't find one -- and another 7 million who have dropped out of the job market altogether.

By Chad MacDonald, Tuesday, November 17, 2009, 4:01 PM EDT

On October 13, 2009 Congressman Luis Gutierrez spent millions of dollars for his Amnesty launch party in 20 cities across the country. In quick response, the grassroots www.againstamnesty.com website was set up for the Tea Party Against Amnesty events that took place in over 50 cities this past weekend on November 14, 2009. There were fireworks in Pasadena, California.

Clinton, Napolitano & Other Insane Arguments Last Week for More Foreign Workers

By Roy Beck, Sunday, November 15, 2009, 6:19 PM EDT

Examples of insanity from just last week that further prove U.S. leaders don't understand the pain of 10.2% unemployment: (a) Sec. of State Clinton went to the Philippines to promise to bring more of its workers to compete with Americans. (b) Top U.S. immigration official Napolitano claims her enforcement is working against illegal immigration and, thus, the nation needs to bring in more foreign workers BECAUSE THE U.S. ECONOMY IS SO BAD! And more . . .

Veterans Are Virtually Only Americans With a National Organization Opposing Giving Away Jobs to More Foreign Workers

By Roy Beck, Updated Wednesday, November 11, 2009, 1:15 AM EDT

Happy Veterans Day. At least, we veterans have our own organization, the American Legion, which does NOT lobby for more foreign workers to take our jobs. But if you own a business, or are in a union, or are a member of a religious organization or a civil rights group, your leaders likely are working every day to give your job to more foreign workers. On this Veterans Day, I have to ask the nation's elites, "Whose side are you on?"
